A gift for LaRue County residents – Free admission to the Lincoln Museum
The Lincoln Museum in downtown Hodgenville is giving a gift to LaRue Countians this Christmas.
To celebrate the season the Museum will host a special Christmas LaRue County Week from Thursday, December 26 through Saturday, January 4, 2025. Admission will be free to any LaRue County resident during this time.
A fun and educational outing for all ages, the museum features a series of life-size dioramas, period artifacts, and a superb collection of wax figures that showcase the major events in Abraham Lincoln’s life.
Visitors can also enjoy festive decorations, a special walking tour of downtown Hodgenville as well as a Downtown and Museum Scavenger Hunt. A free guide and map are available at the museum’s gift shop or online at www.lincolnmuseum-ky.org/extras.html
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Lincoln Museum is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:30-4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
